I was born and educated in the UK and worked for many years as a Solicitor in England, advising clients from a wide range of professional and international backgrounds. My legal career gave me extensive experience in professional communication, negotiations, meetings, interviewing techniques, drafting documents, client relations, and workplace English.
I now help professionals improve their confidence, fluency, accuracy, and communication skills in real-world business and legal contexts.

I currently live in Scotland near Edinburgh and have also lived in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Nottingham, giving me broad knowledge of British culture, accents, and professional life across the UK.

My lessons are practical, personalised, and conversation-focused. Whether you need English for your career, international clients, interviews, workplace meetings, or professional development, I can help you develop clear, confident, and effective communication skills.
My interests include world cinema, politics, current affairs, literature, travel, sport, and quizzes, which helps create engaging and varied conversations during lessons.

I have undertaken a 120-hour Premier TEFL course and am qualified to teach English to students who are not native English speakers.
I am currently teaching Business English and Legal English at all levels.

I work especially well with adult learners and international professionals who want to improve their Business English, Legal English, interview skills, workplace communication, or overall fluency and confidence in professional situations.

As I am currently learning German myself, I understand the challenges language learners face and the importance of patience, encouragement, and clear communication during lessons.
