Hi! I’m a final-year English Literature student with a real passion for helping students feel more confident with reading, writing, and analysing texts. I offer tutoring for both GCSE and A-Level English Literature and English Language.

I know how overwhelming exams and essays can feel, especially when it comes to analysing difficult texts or structuring strong arguments. My aim is to make English feel much clearer and more manageable by breaking down ideas step-by-step and helping students to use their own voice at a level that makes them feel confident.

In our lessons we can work on whatever you need most support with. This might include analysing past papers, building a tailored approach to essay questions and improving essay structure.

We can also work on how to build stronger arguments, prepare for exams, or develop creative and critical writing skills. I am keen to help students understand what examiners are really looking for, including how to use evidence effectively and write clear, thoughtful interpretations that suit their individual writing style.

My teaching style is supportive, flexible, and tailored to each student. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas, so lessons are always relaxed and collaborative. Whether a student wants to boost their grades, improve their confidence with English, or simply understand their texts more deeply, I’m here to help.

As a current English Literature student myself, I’m very familiar with many of the texts and exam skills required at GCSE and A-Level, and I’m passionate about helping others enjoy and succeed in the subject.
