My lessons all begin with a game or two to get students in the mindframe to work. They then develop into cultivating essential skills to not only pass exams, but excel in them. All sessions can be tailored to specific exam boards, and any kind of learning can be slowed or sped up to suit the student’s individual needs.
Different techniques will be tried in order to find what suits the student the best. Help with creative writing, essay writing, SPaG, poetry, general vocabulary, annotations, connotations, as well as any and all texts needing to be studied, will be given. Emphasis will be placed on weak areas to maintain a steady level of work throughout the course.
Most lessons will end with exercises to take home to work on, ensuring we will get the most out of our time together, and that there is plenty for the student to work on.
Sessions are carried out in neutral public spaces, and students can be as formal or informal as they wish. Study sessions can be an hour or two hours, priced at £20 per hour. The very first session will be a free hour, during which plans will be set up for how to proceed, and the student and myself can get to know one another, with a couple of fun games thrown in.
Personally, my education extends to a Masters in Business and Management. I have a love for learning and for sharing knowledge, and I hope that any students of mine will go above and beyond in their exams as a result.
