My lessons are friendly, relaxed and focused on what each student needs help with most. I start by finding out which topics or exam skills you feel least confident with, then we work through them step by step using clear explanations, examples and practice questions.
I can help with AQA A-Level Psychology content, essay structure, evaluation, exam technique and how to pick up more marks in longer answers. I also like to use past-paper questions so that students get used to the way AQA asks questions and what examiners are looking for as this is a key element of achieving top marks.

I achieved an A* in A-Level Psychology myself, so I have recent experience of the course and the pressure of preparing for the exams. My aim is to make lessons supportive and easy to follow, while helping students become more confident and improve their grades.

I also make sure to really listen to each student and check that they fully understand a topic before moving on. I don’t want lessons to feel rushed or like we are just working through content for the sake of it. I’ll focus on the areas that are most important for the exam and make sure you are spending your time on the right topics and skills, rather than wasting time on things you already know well.
