I provide online Applied Psychology lessons for international students who are currently studying in the UK and would like extra support with their psychology courses. My lessons are especially suitable for students who feel that lectures are difficult to follow, struggle with academic reading, or need help understanding psychological theories, research methods, and essay requirements.
I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Health Psychology at the University of Leeds, and I have also published academic research. This academic background allows me to explain psychological concepts in a clear, structured, and evidence-based way. I also have previous experience tutoring undergraduate psychology students in China, so I understand the common difficulties students may face when learning psychology in a second language.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and student-centred. Before each lesson, I can discuss your current difficulties and learning goals, such as understanding lecture slides, preparing for seminars, reviewing theories, improving essay structure, or learning how to read academic papers more effectively. During the lesson, I will break down complex ideas into simple explanations, use examples to make the content easier to understand, and check your understanding step by step.
I can help with topics such as applied psychology, health psychology, basic psychological theories, research methods, academic writing, essay planning, and understanding journal articles. My aim is not only to help students complete their current coursework, but also to build confidence and improve their long-term academic skills. Lessons are flexible and can be adapted to your course content, level, and personal learning needs
