In my two years of teaching in schools, i have learnt some really effective ways of teaching and making valuable knowledge memorable. I provide separate lessons on English Language, and English Literature, I aim to fill in any knowledge gaps with you and to create a useful revision tool for each lesson we do for you to take with you and use to revise. I believe learning is a journey, not a destination - so every time you look at the content, you hopefully learn and remember something you didn't know much about before. For each lesson, i am also going to give you a print out or send you the PowerPoint for the topic we have covered too so you can always refer back to what we have done.

My lesson structure is quite laid back, i will assess what you already know on the topic, you may have a mini quiz or a quick fire question at the start and the end, then we have the main teach and note taking. During the main teach, we create some revision tools to use and i can send you. I aim to make each lesson easy to follow, along with asking how you learn best and tailoring to your learning styles too!

I have got a Distinction in my Teaching Assistant qualification, and i have worked with over 400 students to help them achieve their potential, hopefully i can work to help you too! My passion and interest in the GCSE English subjects shows through in my lessons and i hope to help inspire you too so you can ace your exams!
