Hello! My name is Suvrit, and I am a postgraduate student currently pursuing an MSc in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Glasgow. My academic journey began with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, which gave me a robust foundation in core scientific and mathematical principles. I am passionate about both learning and teaching, and I am excited to help you achieve your academic goals.

I have practical experience in tutoring as a Crash Course Instructor, where I delivered intensive Math and Science courses for Grade 10 CBSE (Scottish National 5 equivalent) students preparing for their board exams. My approach is student-centered and results-oriented. I take the time to create structured lesson plans, customized worksheets, and regular assessments to support the diverse learning needs of each student. Through this personalized teaching method, I was able to help my students achieve an average performance improvement of ten percent. To make lessons more engaging and effective, I frequently use digital teaching aids, including PowerPoint and various online practice platforms. Beyond formal tutoring, I have also provided peer guidance to junior B.Tech students on topics like basic programming and project structuring.

What makes my lessons unique is my ability to connect textbook theory to real-world applications. My background in robotics, computer vision, and machine learning allows me to show you the "why" behind the "what". For instance, I can demonstrate how calculus and linear algebra are used in my research, from designing origami-inspired robotics like a Worm Robot to developing an Intelligent Traffic Management System using computer vision. I am skilled in tools like Python and MATLAB , and I can show you how these are used to simulate and solve complex problems, such as predicting buoyancy for underwater robotics.

My goal is to be more than just a tutor; I aim to be a mentor. I leverage soft skills like communication, critical thinking, and leadership to create a supportive and motivating learning environment. Whether you are preparing for exams or simply want to build a deeper understanding of a subject, I am here to help you build confidence and succeed. I look forward to our first lesson!
