My lessons are calm, supportive, and structured, creating a safe space where students feel heard, respected, and encouraged to think for themselves. I work in a student-centred way, adapting each session to the individual’s needs, goals, and pace. Sessions are conversation-based and reflective, with a clear focus on building confidence, self-awareness, and practical life skills. We may explore areas such as motivation, decision-making, confidence, managing change, or setting realistic goals. I use thoughtful questioning and guided reflection to help students gain clarity, recognise their strengths, and develop greater self-trust. I have experience working with adults and young people who may feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure about their direction. My approach is supportive rather than directive — I don’t tell students what to do, but instead help them explore their own ideas and arrive at solutions that feel right for them. Lessons are structured but flexible. We begin by discussing what the student would like to focus on, agree a clear intention for the session, and reflect at the end on what has been useful or learned. This helps students build confidence not just in the session, but beyond it. I aim to create a relaxed, non-judgemental environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, asking questions, and developing skills that support both personal growth and everyday life.
