I’m a full-time professional language tutor with over 12 years of experience, and supporting my students is at the heart of how I teach. I know that learning a language can feel challenging at times, so my lessons are designed to be encouraging, confidence-building, and tailored entirely to you. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to a language after a break, or working towards more advanced fluency, I’ll meet you where you are and help you progress at a pace that feels right.

I began teaching languages while studying Product Design in Germany and later combined tutoring with a professional design career in Los Angeles and London. Throughout this time, I gained my TEFL qualification and developed extensive experience teaching both individuals and small groups. I’ve worked with learners from A1 beginner level through to C2 advanced, always adapting my approach to suit different personalities, goals, and learning styles.

My lessons are well-structured but flexible, so you’ll always know what you’re working on without feeling overwhelmed. We focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong emphasis on real-life communication and practical use of the language. I love teaching with fun, so if you enjoy learning in a more hands-on way, I also offer interactive lessons such as museum visits, workshops, or location-based sessions that help the language feel natural and alive.

I also support students with exam preparation, including GCSEs, A-Levels, and Goethe Certificates, offering clear explanations, targeted practice, and strategies to reduce exam stress and build confidence. For learners who find it helpful, I can explain concepts in Spanish (C1 level), especially when extra clarity or reassurance is needed.

I’m a patient, approachable, and empathetic teacher who genuinely enjoys helping students grow in confidence as well as ability. My goal is to create a safe, motivating learning environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and discovering what works best for you—so learning a language feels achievable, rewarding, and enjoyable.
