Susannah Georgiou

I have more than ten years experience teaching English as a Foreign Language, both here in England, as well as abroad, in Shanghai, China.

Whether I’m teaching a mix of nationalities in one classroom, or tutoring one-to-one, guiding students through the elementary levels of the language, or helping them prepare for exams like IELTS, it is a job that I love.

When teaching in Shanghai particularly, I was based in a university, as part of a team of teachers, developing and delivering mainly Business English classes specifically for the students there. With Canterbury being something of a university city, I believe this experience will be helpful when tutoring international students.

I have much experience helping students to prepare for exams including Cambridge FCE, IELTS, and GESE, as well as simply helping students gain confidence with their general English.
