I like to base my lessons on a theme and a language point. I try to make the lessons as communicative as possible with you practising your speaking skills as much as possible while integrating reading and listening skills too. I am also happy to teach grammar and writing skills if you would like. In face it is really important for you to have a firm grasp of tenses and rules so that you can be fluent in English. However if you discover how the rules work with my guidance you are more likely to remember them! I enjoy teaching one to one or in small groups so if you would like to pair up with some friends to reduce costs that would be great. In that case I charge £30 per hour but divided between 3 people that is only £10 each. I am happy to teach a series of lessons once a week over 3 months or a shorter period of time as required. I try to make my lessons interesting and fun and can teach in person or online using zoom. You can let me know what you want to learn and which level you are at and I can teach accordingly, taking your needs into account. I can incorporate songs, short videos, podcasts to keep your motivation high. If you would like to improve a certain area of your English such as business or academic vocabulary I will prepare lessons that suit you.
