Hello, I’m Susan and I’d love to help your child with their Key Stage 1 phonics / English

I’ve got 29 wonderful years working in schools, I’m a native English speaker, and I’m known for being bubbly, warm and really encouraging, I bring that energy to every single lesson!

Key Stage 1 is such an important time we build the skills that stay with them for life. We work through phonics clearly and steadily learning new sounds, blending them into words, reading fluently, spelling confidently, and getting ready for that Year 1 Screening Check.

Every child is different, so I tailor everything to them at their pace, with plenty of praise, and lots of fun along the way. It’s not just about reading it’s about believing they can.
