My classes are well-organised, interesting, and geared toward your success.
The structure of each session is straightforward: we start with a brief summary and description of the lesson objectives, proceed into guided instruction using real-time examples and hands-on exercises, and conclude with a review to assess comprehension and establish goals for growth. You will actively practise skills, solve issues, and use knowledge in real-world situations rather than passively listening.
I provide you with detailed instructions and step-by-step examples, and as your confidence increases, I progressively increase your level of independence. Practical exercises, exam-style questions where appropriate, and opportunities for discussion and peer review are incorporated into the lessons. Everyone can advance, as support is consistently available and activities are adapted to accommodate all ability levels.
I have taught Levels 2 and 3 Computing and Digital qualifications, striking a balance between theory, practical application, and assessment preparation. Throughout my teaching, I also embed employability skills including digital communication, problem-solving, time management, teamwork, and professional standards. I use formative assessment regularly to monitor progress and provide timely feedback, ensuring learners understand how to improve and reach their full potential.
You can expect high standards, strong support, constructive feedback, and a respectful learning environment where you feel confident to ask questions, take appropriate risks, reflect on your progress, and continually develop your knowledge and technical abilities.
