My teaching style is supportive, structured, and highly personalised. I believe that students learn best when they feel confident, understood, and encouraged, so I take time to build strong rapport and create a calm, positive learning environment. I adapt my teaching to each student’s ability, pace, and learning style, ensuring concepts are explained clearly and in ways that make sense to them.

Academically, I am highly engaged and bring strong subject knowledge to every session. I have extensive experience supporting younger students through SATs, homework, and exam preparation, both informally with younger siblings and cousins and formally as an Academic Prefect at school. In this role, I tutored younger year groups, supported revision sessions, and helped organise academic support clubs during exam periods. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how to break down complex topics into manageable steps and reinforce core skills effectively.

My lessons are structured yet flexible. I focus on strengthening foundational knowledge first, then building confidence through guided practice, exam-style questions, and clear feedback. I prioritise active learning, encouraging students to explain their thinking, ask questions, and develop independence. For exam preparation, I place particular emphasis on technique, time management, and reducing anxiety so students feel calm and prepared.

As a tutor, I am patient, reliable, and highly organised. I communicate clearly with both students and parents, track progress carefully, and celebrate improvement to keep students motivated. Above all, I am genuinely passionate about education and committed to helping every student reach their full academic potential.
