Lessons are personalised for each individual student as everyone struggles with different aspects of the subjects I tutor - History, French, and Psychology.

I previously tutored history as a Grade 9 GCSE History student at secondary school, in particular helping Year 9 and 10 students improving their exam technique to help them reach higher mark bands to get them the grade they need, so I do have some experience in tutoring.

Lessons focus on students’ weaker areas in History, French, and Psychology, where I will go over specific content and exam technique depending on what needs to be focused on, then allowing the student some time to practice in exam conditions. After the student practices in exam conditions, we go through the answers together, where I will provide support with anything the student doesn’t understand, as well as helping them become more accustomed with the mark scheme, which proves highly effective - it is vital to become familiar with an exam board’s mark scheme to know what they are looking for in an answer. This alone can make a difference between getting a B or an A, and A or an A*.
