I believe students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. That is why I design my sessions to be interactive, purposeful and hands-on, ensuring that learning is both enjoyable and meaningful.

Every session is tailored to the individual learner, taking into account their needs, abilities, interests and learning style. In Maths, I use real-life situations wherever possible, helping students understand how the skills and concepts they are learning connect to the world around them. I aim to make Maths feel relevant and accessible, while building confidence alongside mathematical understanding.

In English, I enjoy exploring high-quality texts that capture students’ imagination and provide opportunities to develop their reading, writing and communication skills. I also look for ways to build on students’ existing interests, using these as a springboard to encourage curiosity, creativity and a genuine enjoyment of the subject.

Above all, I want students to feel confident, supported and motivated in their learning. I aim to create sessions where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves, while celebrating their progress along the way.
