Stephy Setien

Let me introduce myself. My name is Estefanía Setien, though I prefer to be called Stephy or Steph. I am from Argentina and I have been an ELT for more than 18 years. I have experience in teaching English as a second language in a variety of educational backgrounds, including universities, businesses, Language Institutions and bilingual schools. Currently, I prefer to work online as a private tutor, delivering one-to-one, or pair lessons which are fully customised to the student's language level, learning needs and interests. The classes are dynamic, intended to help students gain confidence and autonomy as a language user and develop their 4 basic language skills ( listening, writing, reading and speaking) in line with their learning pace and schedule. As a student, you will be able to use your own study material as a reference or one chosen for you that best suits your learning goals. As a teacher, I am very patient, devoted and caring. I prioritise buiding rapport with my students, and create a learning environment where all the participants feel comfortable, valued and enthusiastic about joining our classes. Lessons will not only matter for the importance of their linguistic content, but also for the opportunity for cultural exchange, human interaction and personal or professional growth. I will be hounoured to assist you in your learning process and become your best ally in achieving your goals.
