Every lesson is tailored to the student's individual needs, ability and goals. I will first identify the areas where they can make the biggest improvements before building these into our lessons.

Lessons can focus on:

* Developing and consolidating GCSE Geography knowledge
* Learning and applying case studies effectively
* Improving exam technique and question structure
* Understanding command words and what exam questions are asking
* Developing stronger extended-mark answers
* Improving the use of geographical terminology
* Applying knowledge to unfamiliar questions and contexts
* Practicing past-paper questions
* Preparing for mocks and final GCSE exams
* Building confidence in areas where students are struggling
* Pushing higher-achieving students towards grades 7–9

I believe the best tutoring combines **knowledge, application and exam technique**. Students will have plenty of opportunities to practice questions, receive clear feedback and understand exactly how they can improve.

As a current GCSE Geography teacher, I can also tailor lessons to the student's exam board and current scheme of work, ensuring that our time together is relevant and focused on making meaningful progress.

I also have experience as a GCSE examiner, so have a strong foundational knowledge in enabling pupils to boost marks and confidence in exam questions.
