Stephen Appiah Kubi

My teaching style is patient, supportive and personal. I take time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges, rather than following a single method for everyone. Each lesson is designed to build confidence gradually, beginning with clear explanations and guided examples before moving on to practice using past papers that become more challenging as progress is made. This approach helps students develop both understanding and strong exam technique.

I have experience tutoring children in schools, supporting learning programmes at law firms and running mock Oxbridge interviews. These experiences have taught me how to adapt to many different learners and goals, whether a student wants to improve their grades, boost exam performance or feel more confident in maths.

Above all, I believe maths can be enjoyable and rewarding for everyone. My aim is to create a calm and encouraging space where students feel supported and able to reach their full potential.
