I am a passionate and dedicated French tutor who believes that learning a language should be practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building. I teach French as a living language, not just a school subject, helping learners use it naturally in real-life situations.
My teaching approach is structured yet creative. I combine clear explanations of grammar with regular retrieval practice, speaking activities, and cultural exploration. This helps learners make strong connections between what they already know and new language, ensuring learning is cumulative and meaningful. I adapt my lessons to suit different abilities and learning styles, providing scaffolding where needed while also challenging learners to stretch their thinking.
I place a strong emphasis on pronunciation, listening, and speaking, as I believe confidence in communication is key to successful language learning. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
As a tutor, I am patient, organised, and reflective. I carefully plan lessons with clear objectives and provide constructive feedback to help learners recognise their progress and areas for improvement. My goal is to help every learner enjoy French, build lasting confidence, and develop skills they can use beyond the classroom.
