Stacey Bowler

I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic Science Teacher with experience teaching Physics, Chemistry and Biology to students of a range of ages and abilities. I am passionate about helping students not only improve their scientific knowledge, but also develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.

With 15 years of teaching experience across Physical Education and Science, I have developed a broad range of teaching strategies and a strong understanding of how to motivate and support different learners. My experience in secondary, primary and SEND education has given me a particularly strong understanding of how differently students learn. I therefore tailor my tutoring sessions to each individual, breaking down challenging topics into manageable steps and using clear explanations, practical examples and questioning to support understanding.

My background in Physical Education has also helped me develop excellent communication, organisation and motivational skills. I understand that confidence can have a huge impact on a student's progress, and I work hard to create positive learning experiences where students feel encouraged and supported. I am approachable and patient, and I take the time to identify individual strengths, areas for development and the best ways to help each student make progress.

Whether a student is looking to build confidence, catch up on areas they find difficult, prepare for exams or simply achieve their full potential, I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to make Science more accessible and enjoyable while helping every student recognise their own progress and ability. I want students to leave each session feeling more confident, motivated and better equipped to succeed.
