My lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to each student’s goals and preferred learning style. We begin by discussing what you already understand, what you find difficult and what you would like to achieve. I then introduce each concept using clear language and relatable, real-world examples before moving on to economic terminology, diagrams, calculations or exam-style questions. Students actively participate through short discussions, guided exercises and opportunities to explain ideas in their own words. This allows me to identify misunderstandings early and adjust the pace whenever necessary. As a Business and Economics graduate from the University of Exeter, with experience in wealth management, investment operations, consulting and real-estate finance, I connect economic theory to practical situations. I can also support students with essay structure, evaluation, data interpretation and revision techniques. Every lesson ends with a concise summary, time for questions and clear next steps, so students leave feeling more confident, prepared and capable of applying what they have learned independently.

Depending on the student’s needs, lessons may focus on building foundations, reviewing school or university topics, preparing for assessments, or exploring economics out of personal interest. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and thinking aloud. Complex topics are broken into manageable sections, with regular checks to ensure understanding rather than memorisation. Where useful, I provide practice activities between sessions and revisit them in the next lesson. My goal is to make economics interesting, accessible and relevant while developing independent thinking skills.
