Being closer in age to my students allows me to connect with their learning styles and challenges in a relatable way, enabling more effective guidance. Currently studying for my GCSEs, I attend a grammar school and I am predicted top grades (9s) in Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Geography, and Classical Civilisations, along with an 8 in Spanish. This strong academic background equips me with the knowledge to effectively support your child.

My process begins with an initial assessment to understand your child's current level, followed by a consultation with you to discuss specific learning goals and aspirations. For 11+ students, lessons will alternate between Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning, and English and Verbal Reasoning. For Key Stage 3 students, following the initial consultation, lessons will focus on the specific subjects required (Maths, Biology, Chemistry, etc.). Understanding your child's GCSE exam board is also a key part of my preparation, allowing me to incorporate targeted exam technique practice.

I believe in creating engaging learning experiences through the use of interactive tools like Kahoot and crosswords, ensuring a balanced approach to both enjoyment and effective education. Homework will be assigned to reinforce learning, and I encourage you to reach out with any questions. All completed work will be thoroughly marked and reviewed.

My experience as a Sergeant in Air Cadets, where I plan and deliver bi-weekly lessons for teenagers (aged 13-18) on diverse topics, including often complex physics concepts, has been invaluable in developing my lesson planning and engagement skills. Assisting my dance teacher with lessons for younger children (5-10 years old) has honed my ability to adapt my teaching style to different attention spans and learning paces. My diploma in Classical Indian dancing has instilled in me discipline and a structured approach to teaching.
