Souhla Merzouki Maarouf

I am an enthusiastic, patient and dedicated language teacher with experience teaching children, teenagers and adults. I have a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Early Years Education from London, as well as experience working with children from 3 to 9 years old, secondary school students, teenagers and adults.

I can offer lessons in English, French, Spanish and Arabic, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, age and personal objectives. Whether you are a complete beginner, want to improve your conversation skills, need help with school or simply want to become more confident speaking a language, I can create lessons specifically for you.

My lessons are friendly, interactive and practical. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and motivating, so I use conversations, games, stories, vocabulary activities, pronunciation exercises, grammar explanations and real-life situations. I encourage my students to participate actively and feel comfortable making mistakes, because mistakes are an important part of learning.

For children, I make lessons fun and engaging while helping them develop their vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. For teenagers and adults, I can focus on conversational language, grammar, pronunciation, everyday communication, school support, exam preparation or improving confidence.

Being multilingual allows me to understand the difficulties students may experience when learning a new language. I can explain difficult concepts clearly and, when necessary, use another language to make learning easier and more understandable.

Every student is different, so I adapt my teaching style according to their needs and progress. My main goal is to help you learn effectively, gain confidence and enjoy the process of discovering a new language.
