Sophie Dunlop

My name is Sophie and I have recently finished my degree in Geography at the University of Bristol, with the ambition to continue my education doing a Marine Biology Master's in the near future. I have a love for learning and I am always keen to help others learn too. I have achieved 10 GSCEs with A*s in Maths and the three sciences. Additionally, I received straight As and A*s in three A-Levels and an EPQ in 2021. I tutor Maths and Physics GCSE and Biology, Chemistry and Geography to A-level standard. Throughout my time in education, I have learnt the best ways of learning and preparing for exams, so I would gladly share these with students. I have worked with children for over four years through forest school and I have been tutoring for two and a half years now offering lessons to individuals and small group tuition. I have a DBS certification as of October 2023, I am qualified with safeguarding level 1 and have undertaken SEND training too. A typical lesson outlines the learning objectives, begins with a recap task to refresh the students memory and then we delve into the learning through visuals, walk through exam questions and then I allow them a chance to have a go themselves.
