My GCSE Maths lessons are clear, structured, and focused on building both confidence and exam performance. Having previously tutored GCSE students, I understand the common areas where students struggle — whether that’s algebra, rearranging formulas, trigonometry, or problem-solving questions — and I know how to explain concepts in a simple, logical way. I am currently studying A Level Maths and Further Maths, which means my mathematical understanding goes beyond the GCSE syllabus, allowing me to explain not just how methods work, but why they work.

Each lesson typically starts with a short recap of previous content to strengthen retention. We then work through a focused topic, breaking it down step-by-step before practising progressively harder exam-style questions. I use lots of guided examples at first, then gradually reduce support so students can build independence and exam confidence.

I place strong emphasis on exam technique — understanding command words, showing clear working, and avoiding common mistakes that cost marks. Where appropriate, I incorporate past paper questions to ensure students are fully prepared for real exam conditions.
