A supportive and enthusiastic tutor with 23 years’ experience working within various fields of education - Post 16 and Adult Tutor (ESOL, Functional Skills, Employability & ICT)/ Level 3 Literacy Support Assistant (supporting pupils with subject specific interventions and homework task)/Level 3 Learning Support Practitioner (LSP)

Providing individuals of all ages and backgrounds with a positive learning journey (i.e. primary, secondary, post 16 and adults) I teach using a holistic approach so they can learn well and transfer their learning in any situation (i.e. homework, exams, general activities etc).

I am aware of the National Curriculum and teach using worksheets, interactive quizzes, factual articles and music (I believe students can retain new information through song or music) and conversations. I am always keen to learn new methods so I welcome this too.
