My sessions are full of joy, laughter, and engagement! Through speaking activities to help foster communication (more than just speaking the 'correct words'), I aim to create an atmosphere of valued expression/communication, shared enthusiasm over topics, and curiosity!

Storytelling has been my approach to teaching and is a key component in my passion for helping learners with language apprehension. I encourage my students to draw from their daily experiences and share them confidently, while I virtually encourage and champion them on their journey of fluency and expression.

What I particularly love about helping students reach their language goals is bearing witness to the authentic community and connections that are built when students' voices are valued and encouraged in online lessons. When a student is in their chosen environment (ie, Home, Office, Car, a park) how that little bit of comfort/convenience allows for deeper connections and more personalization in a digital space!

I often utilize Zoom and PowerPoint. I like to include short videos in every lesson, conversation icebreaker activities, and photos from my life. I also try to encourage students to do the same.

Practical logistics: Lessons can be tailored to your learning style and goals.
-Shared goals/lesson agreement will be established at the start of each session
-Bad days happen... let's work with them!
- I don't offer 1-hour lessons with new students, so let's meet first and see if we are a good fit!
- I prefer that your camera be on when teaching :)
