As a current psychology student at university aspiring to be a clinical psychologist, I know how hard A levels can be as I’ve been through it myself. However, with the right teacher and motivation psychology is an incredibly insightful and interesting subject which can be made very fun when you learn how to apply it yourself to everyday life!
As an experienced tutor my previous lessons included the following. I started each lesson with a warm up, followed by a recall task of what we covered the week prior to ensure they were strong across all topics. Then I would demonstrate the main methods required for the specified topic before setting some work to complete together. After I am confident they understand, I would set my pupils their independent work which we would mark together afterwards to make them aware of strengths and weaknesses to improve upon.
