Sonia Nietubyc

Personal Description:
My name is Sonia. I am a Master of Biomedical Engineering graduate from UCD (Ireland). I specialise in Biology due to personal passion for this subject. Outside my career I enjoy learning new programmes and making art, and I wish to implement this passion and hobbies into teaching the younger generation.

Tutoring Experience:
I am new to tutoring and my tutoring experience as of the moment was helping my colleagues learn business, during my time as a leaving certificate student, however I have strong confidence in my study skills as someone who has graduated Masters and will be happy to share all the little tips and tricks I learned over the years.

Approach to Grinds:
My style of teaching focuses on teaching the basis of the language that is used for biology (origin and derivation of words) and explain concepts behind the biology terms and topics.
I am big advocate of tools such as Anki deck, Excel Spreadsheet and PowerPoint, so I will be creating teaching material and sharing it with the student for their revision purposes. My ultimate goal is to make sure the student will learn the details in a small, digestible portions over long period of time.
