Solenn Hasle

I am currently a penultimate-year student at the London School of Economics, working towards achieving an LLB in Law. I previously studied at the French International School in Hong Kong, where I completed the Baccalauréat Français International with Mention Très Bien, the French education system’s equivalent of the International Baccalaureate. This experience provided me with a deep appreciation for both linguistic precision and cultural understanding — qualities I aim to share through my tutoring. Having achieved excellent academic results myself, I am passionate about helping other students reach their full potential, develop effective study habits, and gain confidence in their learning abilities.
Since 2020, I have been tutoring French to students of various ages and levels. Teaching has allowed me to combine my love for language with my interest in education, and I take great pride in seeing my students grow in both skill and enthusiasm. Each lesson I teach is individually tailored to suit the student’s goals, learning style, and current ability. Whether you are a complete beginner hoping to start from the basics or an intermediate learner looking to refine your skills, I adapt my approach to make lessons engaging, effective, and confidence-building.
My teaching method combines grammar, vocabulary, and conversational practice, always supported by authentic examples from French culture, media, and everyday life. I believe that understanding a language means understanding the people who speak it — so I incorporate cultural insights, idiomatic expressions, and pronunciation practice to help students not only learn French but truly live it.
I am available for both online and in-person classes, offering flexible scheduling to accommodate different time zones and routines. My goal is to make learning French an enjoyable and rewarding experience for every student, no matter their background or starting point.
