I am a passionate and dedicated French teacher currently teaching in South West London from KS3 through to A-Level. Alongside my classroom teaching, I have been tutoring privately since I was at university, supporting students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. This wide range of experience has enabled me to adapt my teaching style to suit every learner, helping each student feel confident, motivated and capable of reaching their full potential.

My lessons are interactive, engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, so I incorporate a variety of games, authentic resources and cultural elements to bring French to life. As an energetic, positive and patient teacher, I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and celebrating their progress.

I am passionate about languages and continuously keep up to date with the latest language-learning research and teaching methods to ensure my lessons are both effective and enjoyable. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving your speaking skills or learning French for travel, work or personal interest, I will design lessons that match your goals and learning style.

I make extensive use of the target language during lessons to develop confidence, improve pronunciation and strengthen vocabulary retention. Depending on each student's needs, lessons may focus on grammar with scaffolded practice, GCSE or A-Level exam techniques, conversation and fluency, or building a strong foundation for younger learners. My aim is always to make students feel empowered and excited about learning French.

I am highly familiar with the AQA GCSE and A-Level specifications, having taught both for several years. I understand what examiners are looking for and can provide targeted guidance, effective revision strategies and personalised feedback to help students achieve their best possible results. Above all, I want my students not only to succeed academically but also to develop a genuine confidence and love for the French language that lasts beyond the classroom.
