My style of teaching involves assessing a student's level of knowledge first, then making sure they know everything they need to know to understand the topic/subject and then getting them to answer questions step by step to analyse their understanding. Whilst maintaining a sense of professionalism, I try to make lessons more engaging, as from personal experience, I believe a student grasps a topic more when they enjoy what they are learning.
