What to Expect from My Lessons:

My lessons are structured but flexible, depending on the child’s goals. Each session typically includes:
• A quick warm-up activity to activate prior knowledge or review previous learning
• A main focus task, targeting a specific skill or area for improvement (e.g. fractions, grammar, reading comprehension)
• A practical or interactive element, such as a game, real-world challenge, or visual aid to deepen understanding
• A brief recap and reflection, helping the child consolidate what they’ve learned and feel a sense of progress

I regularly assess and adjust the content to match each child’s learning pace and preferred style whether that’s visual, hands-on, or verbal. For younger students, I often incorporate playful, creative approaches; for older students, I balance challenge with support to build independence and confidence.

My Strengths:
• Patient, calm and encouraging – helping anxious or reluctant learners feel safe and supported
• Strong subject knowledge across the full primary curriculum, including SATs preparation
• Skilled in adapting lessons for different learning needs, including SEND and EAL
• Focused on building confidence as well as academic skills

My goal is to help every child feel proud of their progress, enjoy learning, and gain the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
