CELTA-qualified and TEFL-certified with experience teaching EAL learners of all ages and levels, both in-person and online. Lessons are communicative, student-centred, and tailored to individual goals, with a focus on real-world language use and building confidence. I incorporate guided discovery, task-based learning, and lots of speaking practice to ensure progress feels natural and engaging. I also teach Spanish for beginners and intermediate learners, using clear explanations and interactive methods. My approach is patient, flexible, and encouraging—designed to help students feel supported every step of the way.

My teaching style aims to elicit what you already know, then work together to build on your knowledge, with my aim to always structure my lessons around what you want to focus on whether this is grammar, pronunciation, tone or culture. If you are not sure what your aims are, we can discuss together and find a strategy that is best for you in improving your language skills.
I believe incorporating real life is key to learning languages, therefore lesson will always cover cultural aspects and build you your ability to use the language in context for example recognising the appropriate tone in different situations and how to use language, body language and facial expressions to create the impression of a native!
I am an experienced English tutor, having tutored at all levels - A1 to C1 Professional English for Business. I am also a B2 level in Spanish, therefore can tutor beginner to upper intermediate levels in Spanish. I am fully invested in making sure every lesson is of high quality, covering all aspects of the English language but also focusing on creating a comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
