Sofia Marguerite Pharo - Tomlin Curras

I am a strong candidate for a Spanish or English teaching role because I have a solid academic background in both subjects, having studied Spanish and English at A-Level. Through my studies, I have developed a deep understanding of grammar, vocabulary, literature, and effective communication. As a native Spanish speaker, I possess a high level of fluency and a thorough understanding of the language, including all Spanish tenses and grammatical structures. This enables me to explain complex concepts clearly and support learners in developing their confidence and language skills.
In addition to my academic knowledge, I have gained valuable practical experience through volunteering in a primary school. During this role, I worked closely with children, supporting their learning in the classroom and helping them to engage with lessons and complete tasks. This experience allowed me to develop important skills such as patience, communication, organisation, and the ability to adapt my approach to meet the needs of different learners. I found it rewarding to help pupils overcome challenges and make progress in their learning.
I am passionate about education and enjoy creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their abilities.
