My name is Sofia, and I have a passion for two things in life: self-development and good memories. I thoroughly enjoy working as part of a wonderful team, bringing people together in a positive way and must admit to loving watching myself and others evolve and grow. My kind nature and positive mindset coupled with an excellent rapport building-building ability are my biggest assets, as I believe that a tutors' success is centered around building positive relationships.

I have over 10 years of coaching/mentoring experience with a varied range of learners of all ages including those with enhanced support required. I have delivered both f2f and online sessions and enjoyed my experience deeply. I believe mutual learning happens for both the tutor and the tutee, since working at the students' pace and regularly assessing goals with a positive focus is vital. We would aim above the mark to hit the mark, whilst making learning accessible, fun and inspiring.

As an individual with life coaching and supervision/team leader experience, I wish to channel my skill of communication and bringing the best out of people into an in-person or online environment. One example of how I would execute this would be to have brief weekly/bi-monthly meetings with learners to ensure everyone felt comfortable with their learning journey everyday; including myself, and give everyone the opportunity of discussion, to air any concerns they have/express any ideas about the daily smooth running of the sessions. People are likely to display higher motivation in the workplace if they feel valued and part of a daily purpose, so I must admit to a massive part of my role being to ensure the positive wellbeing of learners, and using a sense of good humor and optimism to allow goal attainment. Team-work makes the dream work!

My ability to chronologically prioritize a workload, maintain excellent communication and ensure support are roles I have extremely enjoyed doing, and would love to enhance further. Regardless, with an incredibly organized and happy mindset, a thriving and magical atmosphere of studying, developing self and good memories can be created. I would be absolutely delighted to be a part of a learning experience with you.
