My lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I begin by assessing a pupil’s current strengths and areas for development, then plan sessions that build confidence while ensuring steady progress. Lessons usually start with a short warm-up activity to recap prior learning, followed by a focused teaching input. I then guide pupils through practice tasks, encouraging them to think independently while providing support where needed. Sessions end with a review of what has been achieved and next steps, so children can see their progress clearly.

I make use of a variety of approaches - from games, problem-solving activities, and storytelling to visual aids and digital tools - to keep lessons engaging and accessible. I particularly enjoy incorporating creative methods, such as art or nature-based tasks, to spark curiosity and deepen understanding.

I have taught across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting children with a wide range of abilities, including EAL learners and those who need additional scaffolding or challenge. I have experience designing and delivering lessons in English, maths, and science, always ensuring that content is adapted to each child’s needs and learning style.

Overall, my lessons are designed to be structured yet enjoyable, giving children the tools and confidence to achieve their best.
