My lessons are structured, interactive and adapted to each student’s examination board, current level and learning goals. I specialise in A-Level Mathematics and can support Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Mechanics, including algebra and functions, trigonometry, sequences and series, exponentials and logarithms, differentiation, integration, numerical methods, vectors, probability, hypothesis testing, kinematics and forces.

A typical lesson begins with a short review or diagnostic question to identify gaps in understanding. I then explain the concept clearly using diagrams, derivations and practical examples. We work through selected questions together before the student attempts similar examination-style problems independently. I provide immediate feedback, correct misconceptions and demonstrate efficient methods for earning full marks.

Lessons are delivered online using screen sharing, a digital whiteboard and carefully selected notes, examples and past-paper questions. I also teach students how to interpret demanding questions, choose an appropriate method, present solutions logically, use their calculators effectively and manage their time during examinations.

I hold a BSc in Actuarial Science and Financial Mathematics and an MSc in Financial Engineering. I have more than ten years of tutoring experience across secondary-school and university-level Mathematics.

My teaching style is patient, supportive and focused on genuine understanding. I encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning, allowing me to assess whether they understand the method instead of simply memorising steps. At the end of each lesson, we summarise the main ideas, identify areas requiring further practice and agree on the next learning objective.
