I teach from ECUADOR. I have two years helping people to learn and practice Spanish. I like to understand what the student wants to achieve in a given period of time. My method includes inviting students to do short readings, watching TV, listening to music, basic interaction with Spanish speakers at a restaurant or any place they congregate; therefore, the student feels curious about vocabulary and accent. If the student wants to do conversational Spanish, I encourage them to work with short essays, readings, open-ended questions in order to make them express themselves, improve diction and pronuntiation. I also tutor students to prepare essays and do public speaking. I use online material, PDF documents, and some websites to help students according to their level. Overall, my students will feel confident and safe to learn in a place where respect, tolerance, and patience is welcome.
