Shona Mackey

I am a fairly recent Law graduate who has first hand experience of exam stress. I did my own A-level law exams with AQA but I have been employed by OCR as a candidate proxy. This means I have a very detailed understanding of both exam boards. Additionally my academic background means I have experience of a red-brick, Russell Group University and knowledge about a variety of legal careers. I will use my knowledge and experience to structure lessons and content around your needs so we can target the areas where you need a boost.

The first session will be a consultation where we talks about what you want out of the sessions, the qualification you are studying for, learning preferences and goals. Then an individual plan can be created with agreed upon checkpoints of learning.

Sessions will be delivered over zoom, with the potential for face-to-face sessions depending on location. I am located close to the city centre but am unable to deliver sessions from my own place.
After the initial consultation session we will work through the plan as created collaboratively. Within the following sessions I will be sharing research and revision tips which are tailored to your individual needs. There is the option for work to be contained to sessions or alternatively small work activities can be set between sessions.

Depending on what you are working towards, we can develop our schedule so you are using your time in the most efficient way possible. Limiting stress and increasing satisfaction!
