My Spanish lessons are dynamic, supportive, and carefully tailored to each learner. I believe that confidence is key to language learning, so I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and actively using the language from the very start. Lessons are structured but flexible, with clear objectives and a balance of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

For school-age students, lessons are aligned with curriculum and exam requirements, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, exam techniques, and building accuracy and fluency. I draw on my many years of experience teaching in secondary and primary schools to ensure students feel confident and well prepared for assessments, while also developing real-world language skills.

For adult learners, lessons are practical, interactive, and communication-focused. We work with authentic materials, role-plays, and real-life situations to develop listening and speaking skills, while grammar is taught clearly and in context. Every lesson is personalised to match the learner’s goals, interests, and pace.

I am a fluent Spanish speaker with a Master’s degree in Modern Languages and have lived in Spain and Mexico for many years. This allows me to offer both European and Latin American Spanish, as well as cultural insight that brings the language to life.
