Hi I'm Sheng, a Cambridge Mathematics Undergraduate, specialising in applied mathematics! I have experience tutoring all levels of maths up to STEP, the entrance exam for Maths at Cambridge - this includes GCSE Maths and Further Maths, A-Level Maths and Further Maths (including modules FP1, FP2, FM1, FM2, FS1, FS2), Cambridge Maths interview preparation, TMUA (Maths entry exam), MAT (Oxford Maths entry exam), and STEP (Cambridge Maths entry exam).

My approach is very flexible and I will tailor each lesson to your needs and requests, but I use Cambridge Maths supervisions as a model: I find that if you send me some questions or topics/ideas you'd like to go through, that is the most effective way to learn.

I tutor online through Microsoft Teams on the built-in collaborative whiteboard, so having a tablet or graphics tablet to write on the screen would be helpful, however if you are not able to write onto the whiteboard, that is okay and any other method of communicating your thoughts to me will do, just like in Cambridge interviews. All notes taken will be sent to you after the lesson.
