My English Language and Literature lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I believe that every learner has a different pace and style of learning, so I adapt my teaching methods to help students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated.
In our lessons, we will focus on building a strong understanding of English through interactive discussions, close reading of texts, vocabulary development, grammar support, and structured writing practice. For English Literature, I help students explore themes, characters, literary devices, context, and deeper meanings in poetry, novels, plays, and prose. For English Language, lessons may include comprehension skills, essay writing, grammar, spelling, creative writing, and improving communication and analytical thinking.
I also support students with exam preparation by teaching effective revision techniques, essay planning, time management, and how to answer exam questions confidently. Lessons are organised but flexible, allowing us to focus on areas where extra support is needed while also building on strengths.
I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and regular feedback to help students improve steadily and gain confidence in their abilities.
