Shayane Naidoo

Hello and welcome to my classroom. I am a dedicated English educator passionate about making language learning engaging and fun. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Communication Science, a Harvard Early Childhood credential, and a TEFL certification. My career spans locally and internationally. I bring extensive experience working in formal schools, corporate companies, specialized training centers, and kindergartens. During my two years teaching in China and my local roles, I have successfully taught learners across every educational stage, from nursery and kindergarten through primary, high school, university, and into the professional corporate world.
?My teaching methodology is built entirely around you because no student is ever the same. We begin with an assessment to discover your unique personality and learning style. From there, I design a customized roadmap for your goals. Every lesson is carefully created to support your needs and build confidence.
?For young learners, I focus on building a strong foundation in a playful environment. I seamlessly blend traditional methods and Montessori principles depending on what works best. I design custom phonics materials and interactive activities to ensure early English acquisition remains exciting.
?For adult students, classes center on conversational eloquence and practical application. I utilize proven cognitive techniques like active recall and spaced review to help you retain vocabulary naturally. I provide an encouraging space to practice without fear of making mistakes. My ultimate goal is to bring joy back into learning while delivering real results. Book a lesson today and let us begin this exciting adventure together.
