I have experience teaching ESOL students at my local college. I like to create a fun and interactive lesson plans. This would include a variety of speaking, listening, reading, writing, role play and games. I will always give homework to be completed before the next lesson. I like my students to feel relaxed and calm and challenged. To be open to constructive feedback to continuously improve. I enjoy interacting with students and getting to know them to find out their strengths and weaknesses in relation to learning so we can work as a team and build rapport and trust and overcome their barriers to learning. I'm friendly and always willing to help and explain if you are unsure. I have a good sense of humor and really enjoy seeing my students make good progress. I have worked within schools and colleges for a number of years in a variety of roles including exam invilating. I have experience with students with a number of learning challenges and characteristics. I am able to taylor my teaching methods to suit individual needs and use a variety of resources to assist students during lessons. I help my students to improve through positive feedback and encouragement and this increases their confidence and self esteem. I build up self belief and resilience in my students to enable them to have trust and belief in their own abilities. I like my students to always ask questions and never feel uncomfortable speaking up and interact with myself and other students during lessons.
