Shannon Simmons

Hi! I’m Shannon, a First Class Psychology graduate from The University of Nottingham, and I previously achieved an A* in A Level Psychology. I’m passionate about Psychology and believe the subject should be taught in a way that connects theory to real-life examples, helping students engage with the material deeply while also mastering exam skills.

With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students of all ages and abilities, helping them understand content clearly and develop effective exam techniques. My tutoring background includes formal work with a company as well as private lessons, which has allowed me to refine a variety of revision methods tailored to different learning styles.

Currently, I’m aiming for a career in forensic psychology, so I bring both academic knowledge and real-world passion to my lessons. I’m approachable, patient, and committed to making Psychology accessible and interesting, with a focus on building confidence and critical thinking.
