Shamayun Chowdhury

I am a highly experienced and dedicated tutor with a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Birmingham City University and BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance from the De Montfort University, Leicester. I was awarded the best masters student in for achieving the highest overall mark in MSc Accounting and Finance programme at Birmingham City University. Since 2022, I have been teaching undergraduate accounting and finance modules at Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham Business School.

I have 3 years maths tutoring experience from KS2 to GCSE level alongside teaching at Nottingham Trent university . I provide the help and support that students need to enable them to gain confidence and succeed in their subject. I understand that every student learns differently, therefore my teaching approach is tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring that complex concepts are made simple and presented to the students and transform learning into an enjoyable experience.

I am very flexible as I understand sometimes more time require to spend on certain areas and tasks. I always ensure that in each lesson students feel very comfortable, confident and well equipped with to tackle their exam very confidently.
