As a tutor with background in public health and dentistry my target students are primary, secondary, A level and University students who need assistance in biology. My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive and tailored to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. The format of my lessons varies depending on the student’s preferences and needs. I use a combination of visual aids, diagrams and real life examples to help students understand complex biological concepts. I encourage active participation and dialogue during my lessons, creating an environment that is both collaborative and supportive.
The content of my lessons covers the core concepts of biology including cell biology, botany, ecology, evolution, genetics and human anatomy and physiology. With my background I can provide students with a unique perspective on how biology affects human health and well being. I emphasise on practical application of biology, highlighting how biological concepts can be applied to everyday life.
My experiences have taught me the importance of effective commotions and interpersonal skills. I possess qualities such as patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity, which are essential in creating a positive and supportive learning environment. I strive to build a strong rapport with my students, fostering an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.
