My lessons are conducted online, one-on-one, and tailored to each student's level and goals. I usually start with a quick chat to understand what the student wants to achieve — whether it's everyday conversation, grammar, preparing for an exam, or just building confidence to speak. From there, I create a simple plan we follow together, adjusting the pace as we go.
A typical lesson mixes speaking practice, vocabulary, and grammar explained in a clear, practical way — I like to use real-life examples, short dialogues, and exercises rather than just theory, so students actually use the language, not just memorize rules. I also give light homework or practice material between lessons if the student wants extra reinforcement.
I am a native Portuguese speaker, comfortable teaching both European and Brazilian Portuguese, and I also communicate fluently in English (I studied at the British Council), which helps me explain things clearly to beginners. I'm currently finishing my degree in Informatics Engineering and working as a systems developer, which has taught me to be patient, explain ideas step by step, and adapt when something isn't clicking for the other person — skills I bring directly into how I teach.
I teach students of all ages, and I focus on making lessons relaxed and encouraging, so students feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes along the way.
